Earth Day

Honor Earth Day at Point Isabel Regional Shoreline with some weeding and mulching around our new, young mini-forest of trees!

WHO's ORGANIZING THIS: East Bay Regional Park District and Point Isabel Dog Owners and Friends.

WHERE: A large meadow near Mudpuppy's Tub and Scrub and the Sit and Stay Cafe, 1 Isabel Street, Richmond.

Park near Muduppy's and walk north toward the Hoffman Channel. (There are bike racks near Mudpuppy's if you come by bike. Don't ride your bike THROUGH the park...that's not allowed, for safety reasons.) The Golden Gate Bridge will be on your left. At the bend, head east (toward the East Bay hills). It's a five-minute walk, max.

WHEN: Sunday, April 24, 9 to noon.

WHAT TO BRING: Your own gloves and tools, or borrow the rangers'. Bring your own water. A hat and sunscreen are good.

WOOF: Friendly dogs are welcome! (Point Isabel is an off-leash park and there are always many dogs running around.)
