East Bay Regional Park District has designated the bridge across Hoffman Channel as one-way-at-a-time again. Stay six feet back from the bridge entrance while you wait your turn. This will give everyone ample room for social distancing as we stave off the Covid-19 Delta variant.

After a prolonged absence during the pandemic lockdown, we are thrilled to host our first organized event of 2020-21. Grab your gloves for a self-guided, DIY cleanup day on Sunday, July 18. Follow these simple instructions: As you go around the park, please pick up some extra trash or stray doggie doos. Bring gloves and a trash bag. If you want to join Point Isabel Dog Owners & Fiends or find out more about the park, PIDO volunteers will be near the bridge from 10 to noon on Sunday, July 18. Stop by. The city of Richmond is resurfacing Isabel Street, the main access point to Point Isabel, during the week of June 14. The street will not be accessible to vehicle traffic from Monday, June 14 through Friday, June 18. Sidewalks and trails will remain open and accessible, and the Rydin Road parking lot will be open. As a result of the street closure, Mudpuppy’s has announced its dog washing facility and café at Point Isabel will be closed for the entire week.
