Dog-Gone Good Cartoons by Berkeley’s Damon :) Guthrie
Each PIDO Pointer brings a paws-itively spot-on comic about life at Point Isabel, seen through our four-legged regulars. For five years, Damon :) Guthrie has captured the park’s everyday hilarity with pitch-perfect wit, often with a gentle nod to protecting the shoreline we love.
Now it’s your turn. We’re hosting a caption contest for the next PIDO comic—New Yorker–style, but with more mud and slobber. Damon will judge and pick his favorite. Funny, snarky, whimsical—anything goes (keep it clean). Winner and runner-up earn their choice of any PIDO Hoodie or T-shirt (and major bragging rights); Sit & Stay Café $10 gift certificate for honorable mention.
Ready to put words in a dog’s mouth? Submit your caption by May 1.
