Join Our DYI Cleanup Day Sunday, Aug. 22
Grab your gloves for a self-guided, DIY cleanup day on Sunday, August 22. Follow these simple instructions: as you go around the park, please pick up some extra trash or stray doggie doos. If you want to join Point Isabel Dog Owners & Fiends or find out more about the park, PIDO volunteers will be near the bridge from 10 to noon on Sunday. Stop by. And thank you for keeping our shared spaces clean and accessible for everyone.
Water Back On
The leak at the drinking water fountain and self-service dog wash hose near the Rydin Road staging area has been repaired by the EBRPD Trades group. While the water has been turned back on, the entrance right next to the water fountain remains closed until the pit can be backfilled and the pavement repaired. The entrance from the parking lot is open. We are greatly appreciative of the work by the Park Supervisor and frequent updates with repair status.
Return of the one-way-at-a-time bridge
East Bay Regional Park District has designated the bridge across Hoffman Channel as one-way-at-a-time again. Stay six feet back from the bridge entrance while you wait your turn. This will give everyone ample room for social distancing as we stave off the Covid-19 Delta variant.
